Privacy Policy
Effective September 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Slate Foundry LLC ("BSlate," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, retains, discloses, and protects information when you use BSlate, visit https://www.bslate.net, or contact us.
We designed this Policy to cover the complete service while keeping AI generation rules easy to find. A separate AI Data Privacy page provides a focused explanation of prompts, uploaded images, generated videos, model training, face-related data, and the 36-hour storage window.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not submit information or use the Services.
1. Scope and responsibility
This Policy applies to BSlate: AI Video Generator, https://www.bslate.net, customer support, and related services operated by Slate Foundry LLC. It does not replace the privacy terms of an app marketplace, operating system, or external website that you choose to use.
Slate Foundry LLC is responsible for the personal information described here. Product support is provided under the BSlate name by Slate Foundry.
2. Information we collect
We ask you not to include sensitive or unnecessary personal information in prompts, uploads, filenames, or support messages. You control which eligible images and prompts you submit for generation.
- Account information, such as an email address, account identifier, authentication status, profile settings, and subscription status.
- Generation content, including prompts, creative instructions, images you choose to upload, generation settings, generated videos, thumbnails, and related creation identifiers.
- Support communications, including messages, attachments, bug reports, feedback, and information you provide so we can investigate a request.
- Purchase information, such as product, subscription, transaction identifier, storefront, currency, purchase status, and refund status. We do not receive full payment-card numbers from app marketplaces.
- Technical and usage information, including device type, operating system, app version, language, IP address, timestamps, feature interactions, performance events, crash information, and security logs.
3. Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you when you create an account, use a generation feature, upload an image, change a setting, or contact support. We also collect limited technical information automatically when the app or website communicates with our systems.
App marketplaces may provide purchase confirmations, subscription status, refund events, storefront information, and transaction references according to their own terms and your marketplace account settings.
4. AI generation processing
BSlate uses the prompt you submit, any image you deliberately select, your generation settings, and the resulting output to perform the video generation you request. Generation starts only after you choose the feature and submit the request.
AI generation is performed with self-hosted models on infrastructure operated for BSlate. We do not send prompts, uploaded images, generated videos, or generation context to third-party AI services.
We do not use personal information, prompts, uploaded content, or generated outputs to train general-purpose AI models or foundation models.
5. How we use information
We may analyze aggregated or de-identified operational information when it can no longer reasonably identify you. This does not change our commitment not to train general-purpose AI models using user content.
- Provide, maintain, personalize, and troubleshoot BSlate and the website.
- Authenticate users, maintain sessions, protect accounts, and apply account settings.
- Process generation requests, display results, support short-term creation history, and let you manage eligible content.
- Validate purchases, restore eligible access, administer subscriptions or credits, and reconcile approved refunds.
- Respond to support, privacy, account deletion, safety, intellectual-property, and bug reports.
- Monitor reliability, detect misuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, secure the Services, and comply with law.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as service security and support, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent where consent is required.
When processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing that occurred before it was withdrawn and may prevent the related optional feature from functioning.
7. Disclosure and service operations
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not disclose generation content to third-party AI services.
Limited information may be processed by providers that support ordinary operations such as app distribution, payment confirmation, security, hosting connectivity, diagnostics, and customer communications. They may process information only for the service they provide to us and under appropriate restrictions.
- Apple or Google may process downloads, subscriptions, payments, cancellations, and refunds under their own policies.
- Professional advisers may receive information where reasonably necessary and subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities or other parties may receive information when required by valid law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
- Information may transfer as part of a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, or sale, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
8. Purchases and app marketplaces
In-app purchases are processed by the marketplace shown at checkout. The marketplace controls payment credentials and applies its own billing and refund policies. We receive only the transaction and entitlement information needed to provide or adjust access.
Deleting the BSlate app or account does not automatically cancel a marketplace subscription. Subscription management remains available through the Apple ID or Google Play account used to purchase it.
10. Retention periods
Prompts, uploaded generation inputs, generated videos, and associated generation context are automatically deleted from BSlate servers no later than 36 hours after creation. Deletion may occur sooner when you delete the creation or your account.
Account records are retained while the account remains active and for a limited period after deletion when necessary to complete the request, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, or comply with law.
Purchase, tax, accounting, legal, security, and support records may be retained for the period required by their purpose and applicable obligations. Backup copies are isolated and expire according to controlled backup cycles.
11. Account and creation deletion
You can request account deletion through the Profile or Account Settings area in the app. Follow the confirmation steps displayed there. If the in-app control is unavailable to you, contact support from the email address associated with the account.
Deleting an account removes the account and associated active data, subject to limited legal, transaction, fraud-prevention, security, backup, and dispute-resolution exceptions. You may delete individual eligible creations using the controls provided in the app.
12. Images and face-related data
An uploaded image is used only as visual input for the generation you request and for the limited service functions described in this Policy. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload it.
BSlate does not perform facial recognition, does not extract facial-geometry templates, and does not create biometric identifiers from uploaded images. We do not use uploaded faces to identify a person.
13. Security safeguards
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, transport encryption, service monitoring, restricted permissions, and incident-response practices appropriate to the nature of the information.
No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your account credentials and device, and contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.
14. International processing
Information may be processed in the United States and other locations where operational infrastructure or marketplace providers are available. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
Where required, we use contractual, technical, organizational, or other recognized safeguards for international transfers.
15. Children's privacy
BSlate is not directed to children under 13 or below the minimum digital-consent age that applies where they live. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact contact@bslate.net so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
16. Your privacy choices and rights
We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
- Request access to or a copy of eligible personal information.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion, subject to lawful exceptions and identity verification.
- Request restriction, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where applicable.
- Request portable information where required and technically feasible.
- Appeal a privacy-request decision or contact an appropriate regulator where local law provides that right.
17. United States state privacy disclosures
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of covered personal information and to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. These rights are subject to statutory scope and exceptions.
BSlate does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may submit a qualifying request using the contact information below.
18. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers transmit Do Not Track signals. Because there is not yet a universally accepted technical standard for these signals, our website does not respond to them in a uniform way. We will update this explanation if an applicable standard requires a different response.
19. Policy updates
We may update this Policy to reflect product, legal, security, or operational changes. The effective date identifies the current version. When required, we will provide additional notice in the app, on the website, or through another appropriate channel.
